Think about whether you want illuminated branding, surface protection, or both, and compare the product description rather than assuming that every accessory called a door sill delivers the same combination.

Match the vehicle, package, and number of pieces

The RDX A-Spec example is listed for 2019–2026 RDX A-Spec models. That application does not establish compatibility with every RDX trim, an earlier RDX, or another Acura. A kit may also differ in finish, logo, connector arrangement, or the number of included pieces. Check those details before deciding between listings that look similar.

For comparison, Acura’s installation instructions for the 2017 MDX kit 08E12-TZ5-200A identify front and rear sill trims plus wiring harnesses. A four-door MDX kit and a two-piece RDX kit are not interchangeable shopping choices. Keep your VIN, model year, and package information available when asking Bernardi to confirm the accessory. Plan for wiring, not just adhesive trim

Illuminated sills are electrical accessories. Those instructions apply to that kit and vehicle; they are not a universal procedure for newer Acura models.

Avoid improvising a power connection or routing a wire where it could be pinched.
